EDX Technician

Job Title: EDX Technician

Supervisor: Tristyn Canchola

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs diagnostic patient testing to include nerve conduction velocities (NCV)
  • Performs room and equipment set-up
  • Prepare patients for test, explain procedure with good communication & maintain good rapport with patients during the test
  • Reads and scores neurodiagnostic studies
  • Takes initiative to acquire and maintain knowledge base
  • Participates in conferences and technical training
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information related to patients and medical staff
  • Willing to travel to between all sites of service

Qualifications & Experience:

  • One (1) year of basic medical, patient care related experience
  • Current CPR certification (required)
  • Bilingual (preferred, but not required)

Wage / Benefits:

  • DOE (hourly)
  • Hiring bonus upon successful completion of 90 days of employment

Schedule:

  • Part-time
  • Flexible depending on clinic need

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of accredited Electro Neurodiagnostic Program (preferred)
